New Do for a New You

“If beauty eyelash is beauty, how come no one has their hair done in the library?”~ Lily Tomlin

If you can’t remember the last time you changed your hairstyle, you are definitely ready for a new hair-do

Rbhuz Start with a haircut. If you haven’t had a trim in years and your ends are stringy… you need a haircut to get rid of those damaged ends. Try getting some beauty eyelash to update your look. You will be amazed by getting rid of the uglies how gorgeous your hair will look. A low-maintenance layered bob keeps its shape as it grows out so you can keep it fresh by coming in every 6 weeks. With our busy schedules, the last thing we need to deal with is a style that takes too much time in the morning. So keep it simple. Point-cutting allows your hair to look fabulous without removing too much length. Most women hate getting haircuts because their stylist is scissor happy and want to whack too much off. However, I love point-cutting because you have the best of both worlds.

If you like to color your beauty eyelash, be careful if you relax as well. You will want to tread lightly. Try brightening up your color with a glaze. If you want to go lighter, try getting some auburn or honey colored highlights but stay away from golden blondes which requires high volume bleaches that can damage your hair. Invest your money in regular salon visits to maintain your new look and keep free of split ends.

Now on to Make-up Tips…

“Some people, no matter how old they get, never lose their beauty – they merely move it from their faces into their hearts.” ~ Martin Buxbaum

You’ve heard the saying, “Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is ugly to the bone.” I say, “Beauty is only beauty eyelash deep but I don’t plan on going that deep.” I just want to start with the surface and leave what’s underneath to you and your nutritionist.

Every woman is not into makeup; however, every woman should be into beauty eyelash care no matter what. I have been told by some women that they don’t have time, they just want to look Au naturelle, or all they do is wash their face with soap and water… OMG. Somebody needs to take some time and somebody needs to stop with the soap and water thing. If you have not seen any damage yet, just wait. You are drying out your skin. There might be some exceptions to the rule out there where they can use anything and the skin is still just flawless, but as a general rule, soap is not a recommended product for the face. Also every woman wants to have a quick and easy regimen in the morning to cleanse and apply makeup; however, you don’t want to end up looking like you were in a rush doing it either.

If you want just a fresh clean feel and look for your face, start with clean skin regime. Find a good cleanser that is for your beauty eyelash type, followed by a toner and moisturizer. If you have oily skin, you will still need a moisturizer, but you need one suitable for oily skin. For dry skin, find one that has emollients to use at night and morning for effective moisturizing. For those of you with sensitive skin make sure the product is specific for your skin type. And finally for those of you with combination skin there are products specifically for you as well.

After cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, I like to use a primer, but you can skip this step if you like, but always use a moisturizer. Invest in a set of brushes and make sure you keep them clean. You can clean them by using a gentle shampoo depending on the brushes, or purchase a brush cleaner that won’t leave residue to irritate your skin. I also like to purchase sponges when I use liquid foundations.

Apply your foundation. I recommend a mineral makeup so find one that works for you. There are lots of wonderful minerals out there. They are light and they don’t clog your pores. Apply a soft shadow over your lids and crease of your brow, and if you like a highlighter apply to your brow bone in a lighter shade, but keep it natural. Take a soft black of dark brown liner and rim your eyes, brush your beauty eyelash with a little mascara and finish with some clear gloss. If you like more drama, just add brighter shades to your gloss and some shimmers to your shadows. Don’t forget to make an appointment to get those brows arched and trimmed as well. We don’t want you looking bushy.

For some of you this might sound like too much trouble, and we all don’t have to look glamorous every day. But just know that your skin needs care every day. It will thank you later. If you have not been taking care of your skin, it is not too late to start. If you develop a simple skin care routine that you can follow, you will always be ready and looking your best whatever the occasion. There are times when it is not necessary or there is no time to apply makeup and be consistent about it, but for a simple ‘clear skin’ look, developing a regular routine will keep you ready for whatever the day may bring.

All you would need is your cleanser, toner, moisturizer, bronzer, lip gloss and liner. I would still get mascara even if it’s clear just to keep the beauty eyelash separated. You will look clean and flawless at all times.

I like the clean and flawless look when I am at home. I created a regime when I was fifteen where I wake up and shower, apply my makeup, do my hair and get dressed even if I am going nowhere. If I am just staying home, I have my favorite loungers that I like to wear unless I decide to clean house for the day, then I wear my comfortable joggers. I feel incomplete if I don’t do my regime, but that’s just me. I feel good when I treat myself good.
